The Bensenville Park District’s mission is to promote community participation in leisure activities, learning experiences, and social interactions by providing excellence in service, facilities and programs throughout the Bensenville Park District. They are always striving to enhance the quality of life through the preservation of our local history, open spaces and recreational opportunities of all ages to enjoy.
The Park District's administrative offices are located at the Deer Grove Leisure Center. The Leisure Center has a state of the art weight room, a full size gymnasium, an indoor track, three racquetball courts and is the location of many of the programs and events offered by the Park District.
Bensenville Park District has 14 parks while maintaining approximately 75 acres of park land, not including the 240 acre, 36-hole golf course, White Pines Golf Club, located at 500 W. Jefferson Avenue.
Other features of the district include 8 baseball fields, 3 soccer fields, Fischer Farm Museum and Bensenville Water Park. The water park is complete with a 155’ water slide with plunge pool, diving well, drop slides and sand volleyball court. There are play areas for children, both on land and in the water. The water park also offers full-service concessions, locker rooms, chaise and sun chairs, and arranges private rentals for groups. Guests of the Bensenville Water Park can look forward to a new Splash Pad, slated to open in 2013.
